Bruce Schulman

Bruce Schulman

Bruce has been investing in the energy and industrial sector since 1994. Prior to joining NGP ETP in 2009, Bruce worked for Allied Capital Corporation, where he led or co-led the firm’s energy investing activities. Bruce also held positions with middle market private equity firms Saw Mill Capital and JP Morgan Capital. Bruce began his career in market research and with Bechtel Enterprises, the finance and investment arm of the global engineering and construction firm. Bruce holds an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, an MA in International Affairs from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and an AB in East Asian Studies from Harvard College. Bruce is the Chairman of the Wharton Alumni Executive Board and Co-Chair of the Wharton Private Equity/Venture Capital Association. Bruce is the Chairman of Penn Power Group and Waste Resource Management, a board member of Dynamix Engineering & Services Group, and a former board member of Managed Pressure Operations, Living Earth, Industrial Air Tool, Service Champ, Startec Global Communications, Air2, Turner Bros, and GeoDigital. He lives in Bethesda, MD with his wife and three sons.

Michael LeBourgeois

Michael LeBourgeois

Michael LeBourgeois has more than 15 years of investment experience and is focused primarily on the oilfield services sector. Prior to joining NGP ETP in 2007, Michael served as the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Business Development for Auto-Chlor Services. From 2000 to 2004, Michael worked at Bank of America Securities in the Natural Resources Investment Banking Group in New York and Houston, covering energy technology, oilfield services, and refining and marketing companies. From 1998 to 2000, Michael worked at Chaffe & Associates in the M&A group, executing transactions primarily in the energy industry. Michael holds an MBA from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University, where he was the James T. Murphy fellow, and a BA in Economics from Southern Methodist University, where he graduated summa cum laude. Michael is a board member of Catapult Energy Services, Signum Instruments, Dynamix Engineering & Services Group and Zahroof Valves; a former board member of Environmental Drilling Solutions, Flogistix, Managed Pressure Operations and Wellbore Energy Solutions; and a former board observer of TAS Energy.

Thomas Ambrose

Thomas Ambrose

Prior to joining NGP ETP, Tom was a Senior Analyst in the Corporate Development group of Halliburton Co. in Houston. While at Halliburton, Tom worked on a number of strategic transactions in the Oilfield Technology & Services sector. He holds a BSM in Finance and Economics and an Energy Specialization from Tulane University, where he graduated magna cum laude. Tom is a board member of Signum Instruments, Dynamix Engineering & Services Group and Zahroof Valves.

Randall Albert

Randy Albert

Randy Albert, is the owner and CEO of Shale Advisory Group, a consulting firm focused on the emerging shale plays in the Appalachian Basin and around the world. Mr. Albert retired from CONSOL Energy in January 2014 after a 34 year career, serving the last several years as the Chief Operating Officer-Gas. Mr. Albert began at CONSOL as a mining engineer in 1979 and served in various roles on the coal side of the business until he was tapped to lead the Coalbed Methane Business in CONSOL Energy’s Southern Appalachia Region. In 1990 Mr. Albert led the formation of Pocahontas Gas Partnership, a joint venture with Conoco which ultimately drilled and stimulated over 4000 wells in southwestern Virginia and became one of the largest CBM plays in the world. In 2005, Mr. Albert took on operational leadership roles and successfully developed the CONSOL Energy Gas business in Northern Appalachia. In 2010, he was named the Chief Operating Officer-Gas and given operational responsibility for CONSOL Energy’s entire gas business. During his tenure, Mr. Albert led the rapid development of CONSOL Energy Marcellus Shale program as well as the emerging Utica Shale program. Mr. Albert was also instrumental in leading the $3.5 billion acquisition of Dominion Resources E&P; business in 2010. Mr. Albert is a past Chairman of the Marcellus Shale Coalition and a Member of the Board of Eclipse Resources Corporation, Vanguard Natural Resources and Dynamix Engineering & Services Group. He serves on the Strategic Advisory Board of Black Bay Energy Capital, a New Orleans based Private Equity fund, and the Advisory Board of Gas Field Services, a Rosedale VA based OFS provider. He holds a BS in Mining Engineering from Virginia Tech, where he is a Mining and Minerals Engineering Distinguished Alumnus and serves on the Mining Engineering Department’s Advisory Board. In April of 2016 Mr. Albert was inducted into the Academy of Engineering Excellence at Virginia Tech, the highest honor bestowed upon the College of Engineering graduates, an honor bestowed upon only 141 of its 65000 graduates. Mr. Albert is a Registered Professional Engineer in WV and VA.
